Access Northeast, a provider of Datacenter and Managed Service in New England, signed a partnership deal with VMware to launch its new Parthenon offering, MirrorCloud.
“Every day we meet with companies who are challenged with high application availability requirements, despite modest budgets,” Brian Bean, vice president of Technical Services at Access Northeast said in a press release.
“With MirrorCloud, the cost variance between 24-hour recovery time and 6 hours is almost negligible,” Bean added.
As indicated, the MirrorCloud service utilizes the power of VMware’s vCenter and Site Recovery Manager (SRM) technologies to deliver a simple-to-use, reliable, and fully automated virtual replication solution. MirrorCloud is said to easily integrate with all of Access Northeast’s existing Parthenon Cloud Infrastructure Services, allowing IT professionals with a variety of cost-efficient solutions.
Access Northeast official also clarified that the Parthenon MirrorCloud service is designed to allow IT, Finance and Business Continuity professionals within the same organization to align their individual mandates with respect to corporate Disaster Recovery planning by dramatically lowering Recovery Time Objectives within existing budgets. Backed by the latest VMware innovations, the Parthenon MirrorCloud is said to assure a solution that works along with the management and future scalability that VMware virtual platforms offer.
“Access Northeast is filling a void in the Northeast datacenter market,” Michael J McDonough III, business development leader at VMware said in a statement.
“They are truly a thought leader in offering Disaster Recovery in conjunction with other robust offerings. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity services were only available to the largest enterprise customers just three years ago, but with the advancement of VMware software and Access Northeast’s infrastructure, this very important need is now available to everyone in the market,” McDonough added.
VMware is a provider of virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions.
In related news, TMC (News - Alert) reported that Access Northeast is offering cloud services to Micronotes, a Cambridge, MA-based digital marketing firm servicing the financial sector.
